U21 Thailand's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marsilam Sangaji was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marsilam Sangaji made a kick off. The throw-in from Tanawut Boriwat in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by U21 Indonesia's Yanuar Lengkong. 55 minutes into the match, U21 Indonesia's Marsilam Sangaji sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Satawat Ruktum narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner led U21 Indonesia's Genta Sahuleka to fire away a dangerous shot which Satawat Ruktum despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Satawat Ruktum made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marsilam Sangaji in the 82nd minute. Satawat Ruktum made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Marsilam Sangaji sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. U21 Indonesia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
