Leif Bolstad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomir Pengal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th match minute, U21 Slovenia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marko Šuler to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jørgen Justad in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rikardo Tratnjek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rikardo Tratnjek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jørgen Justad in the 37th minute of play. After 37 minutes, Jørgen Justad made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. U21 Slovenia's Rikardo Tratnjek tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. U21 Slovenia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erlend Huseby during the 85th minute.
