Seating: 236, VIP seats: 20) Uruguay's Bitxintxo Buraga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Brazil booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nafarroa Pozuelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uruguay's Nataniel Alvaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. Juninho Jacinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulizes Beytia in the 13th minute of the match. The corner led Uruguay's Pau Lombraña to fire away a dangerous shot which Juninho Jacinto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Uruguay's Nataniel Alvaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho de Amaral came free, but Nataniel Alvaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Bitxintxo Buraga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juninho Jacinto was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Hats Faes hit a great ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aírton Castro was the one to do the kick off. Brazil's Juninho Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pau Lombraña in the 53rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Aírton Castro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nataniel Alvaro was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitório Carioca in the 93rd minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Nataniel Alvaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Brazil were victorious despite being under pressure from Uruguay for much of the match.
