The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eric Bellinkx was the one to do the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, U21 Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Diaz came free, but Rolf De Winter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over U21 Argentina could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than U21 Belgium throughout the match.
