Seçkin Suavi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felice Signori showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 27 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felice Signori got free with Seçkin Suavi in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Turkey's Seçkin Suavi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Turkey from getting a goal against them. After taking down the ball on Italy's corner Alvaro Lemma fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Seçkin Suavi quite easily take care of the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Olgun Akpınar came free, but Angelo Peruzzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Seçkin Suavi was a little too slow when Felice Signori got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 2-1. Angelo Peruzzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Talip Ağaoğlu's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Italy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Muammer Arslantürk was slow to take the kick. During this time Turkey's players had a chance to rest. Felice Signori could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Seçkin Suavi made a huge save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felice Signori made a kick off. Alvise Fulgenzi made in the 81st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Turkey's Muammer Arslantürk. Seçkin Suavi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Armellini in the 84th minute of play. Seçkin Suavi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Armellini in the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute of the game Elia Cucci made a throw-in which Daniele Grifoni played forward. Italy walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
