Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) India's Kudhara Sharma started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Estonia booed when India was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ili Dwivedi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Heman Mahal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Väino Kann in the 4th minute. In the 6thth minute of the game Väino Kann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but India's Heman Mahal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Peeter Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ili Dwivedi in the 15th minute of play. Estonia's Peeter Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kudhara Sharma in the 17th minute of play. If Tarvi Vips had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauri Moodne in the 27th minute of play forced India's goalkeeper Heman Mahal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peeter Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adinatha Khandelwal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peeter Čech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anuhrada Chawla, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eldur Okspuu got free with Heman Mahal in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peeter Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anuhrada Chawla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the game, Dhaval Marathe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. India's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estonia the free kick. The supporters of Estonia booed when India was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dhaval Marathe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgar Hallik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute Adinatha Khandelwal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peeter Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Heman Mahal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lauri Moodne in the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd minute Lauri Moodne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heman Mahal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peeter Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kudhara Sharma in the 55th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Estonia's goal looked a bit too open when Ili Dwivedi came free, but Peeter Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adinatha Khandelwal in the 58th minute of play forced Estonia's goalkeeper Peeter Čech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Heman Mahal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eldur Okspuu, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 70th minute, Eldur Okspuu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Heman Mahal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. India's Amritaprabha Jain was substituted for Ili Dwivedi. India's Kinjata Sangha was substituted for Kudhara Sharma. Estonia's Eikki Lemmik was substituted for Tarvi Vips. Heman Mahal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ervin Talu went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Peeter Čech made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Arvacina Agrawal sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Lauri Moodne sped through India's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Heman Mahal. Heman Mahal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lauri Moodne in the 85th minute of play. Peeter Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arvacina Agrawal in the 87th minute of the match. When Eldur Okspuu came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Estonia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eldur Okspuu couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kinjata Sangha got free with Peeter Čech in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Heman Mahal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ervin Talu, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Mati Püss took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Heman Mahal. Heman Mahal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Estonia's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
