Stanislovas Pečiulis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Edwin van der Sar made a huge save. U21 Lithuania's Almantas Kalinauskas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstanty Lamczyk in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by U21 Lithuania's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. U21 Lithuania's Almantas Kalinauskas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wincent Tipinski in the 42nd minute of play. Daugirdas Gailiūnas charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daugirdas Gailiūnas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wincent Tipinski made a kick off. Konstanty Lamczyk hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute of the match, Konstanty Lamczyk tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Almantas Kalinauskas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Abigail Hawke came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the U21 Poland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abigail Hawke couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute, Konstanty Lamczyk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Almantas Kalinauskas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. U21 Lithuania made a substitution. Audrius Žukauskas replaced Egidijus Malakauskas. In the 72nd minute, Wincent Tipinski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. U21 Poland's Olgierd Madajczyk was substituted for Wit Kilarski. U21 Poland made a substitution. Michal Domalik replaced Konstanty Lamczyk. After 73 played minutes U21 Poland got a freekick which was hit by Wincent Tipinski. If Eurelijus Budreckas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Almantas Kalinauskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Domalik in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, U21 Poland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olgierd Madajczyk to maneuver through the defense. U21 Lithuania's Almantas Kalinauskas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wincent Tipinski in the 81st minute of play. Edwin van der Sar came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Lithuania's Stanislovas Pečiulis. But to his dismay, Stanislovas Pečiulis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. U21 Lithuania made a substitution. Edgaras Pilipauskas replaced Eurelijus Budreckas. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olgierd Madajczyk in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Almantas Kalinauskas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. U21 Poland were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after U21 Lithuania's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zula Walkowski took the corner. The U21 Poland players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented U21 Lithuania from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
