The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Varinderjeet Dwivedi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Varinderjeet Dwivedi hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, U21 India's Varinderjeet Dwivedi got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Ilanko Krishnamurthy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Lukas Kaupang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Atasa Heer managed to get in a good position for a shot. U21 India's supporters rose to their feet, but Atasa Heer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lukas Kaupang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natarajan Chahil in the 91st minute of play forced U21 Norway's goalkeeper Lukas Kaupang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gunamaya Lachenpa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Finn Holmedal in the 96th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. U21 Norway fully deserved thier win.
