A nice corner shot did that Varinderjeet Dwivedi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Erik Nurapratama quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some careless play in the U21 India defense, Andre Riyanto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Akila Gaikwad. The U21 India fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Akila Gaikwad should have stopped the shot. After 16 played minutes U21 India got a freekick which was hit by Avyaya Lell. In the 17th minute, Dindin Soesilo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute, Trisno Sonjaya made a precise shot to the right of Akila Gaikwad. U21 India's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Andre Riyanto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Akila Gaikwad skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The tension between the U21 India and the U21 Indonesia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bhairavasin Samra hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 90 minutes of play U21 India's Bhairavasin Samra was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 91st minute, Bhairavasin Samra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the game, Andre Riyanto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-1. Akila Gaikwad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. U21 Indonesia fully deserved thier win.
