Ferry Waldschmidt made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Beşir Akyol sent off a good shot on target. In the 93rd minute of the game Ahmet Gündüz Askeroğlu made a throw-in which Saruhan Seza played forward. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind U21 Netherlands's goalkeeper Ferry Waldschmidt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to U21 Turkey getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Beşir Akyol hit a great ball. The U21 Turkey players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
