Erruki Ponce came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by U21 China's 杨西伟. But to his dismay, 杨西伟 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. U21 Colombia's Erruki Ponce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fox 周瑜 in the 25th minute of play. With a little luck, U21 China's 钱渊默 got control of the ball when Herminio Ortiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Han Yu Cheng managed to get in a good position for a shot. U21 China's supporters rose to their feet, but Han Yu Cheng was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erruki Ponce showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

In the last second Erruki Ponce throw himself and got hold of the ball when 杨西伟 in the 51stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. U21 Colombia's Erruki Ponce proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save U21 Colombia from getting a goal against them. U21 China's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
