An unexpectedly hard shot by Vígmundur Mánason in the 28th minute of play forced Philippines's goalkeeper Bayan Yase to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abraham Vilhelmsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arthur Pumaren's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthew Padernal in the 32nd minute of play forced Iceland's goalkeeper Abraham Vilhelmsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
