Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience was convinced that Pembroke Kerrin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bayan Yase was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pembroke Kerrin in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bayan Yase saved Philippines from getting behind. In the 85th minute, Llwybyr Farley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Govynyon Forsyth succeeded in the game's 89th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. But to his dismay, Rheged James quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Wales had won after a very even match.
