U21 Belgium were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after U21 Belarus's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yens Callens took the corner. U21 Belgium's Tommas Elsens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anatoly Pankevich in the 15th minute of play. Tommas Elsens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergey Lisik in the 18th minute of play. Tommas Elsens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miron Prokopovich, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Tommas Elsens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anatoly Pankevich went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Tommas Elsens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergey Lisik in the 27th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sergey Lisik in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommas Elsens saved U21 Belgium from getting behind. Andrey Revin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yannik Eggermont, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. U21 Belgium's Tommas Elsens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anatoly Pankevich in the 30th minute of play. U21 Belarus's Andrey Revin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save U21 Belarus from getting a goal against them. U21 Belgium's Tommas Elsens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anatoly Pankevich in the 36th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Christofere Pardons left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Belgium fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

U21 Belarus made a substitution. Radislav Karpovich replaced Anatoly Pankevich. U21 Belarus's Genady Rybnikov was substituted for Sergey Lisik. Tommas Elsens was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Danila Kuncevich. Pilip Temirov made in the 64th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Prohar Naryshkin immediately put the ball in play. The supporters of U21 Belgium booed when U21 Belarus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasily Lamashkevich didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yannik Eggermont struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Andrey Revin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Belgium. U21 Belgium's Frederick Van de Goor was substituted for Yannik Eggermont. 75 minutes into the match, U21 Belarus's goal looked a bit too open when Frederick Van de Goor came free, but Andrey Revin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, U21 Belgium's Samuel De Messemaecker got a free kick in the 77th minute. U21 Belgium's Tommas Elsens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radislav Karpovich in the 78th minute of play. After 81 played minutes U21 Belarus got a freekick which was hit by Apanas Kazakevich. U21 Belarus's Andrey Revin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christofere Pardons in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Christofere Pardons cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Andrey Revin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. U21 Belgium made a substitution. Maurus Tkint replaced Geordy Kustermans. U21 Belgium were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after U21 Belarus's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yens Callens took the corner. The corner led U21 Belgium's Yens Callens to fire away a dangerous shot which Andrey Revin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Frederick Van de Goor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andrey Revin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, U21 Belarus's goal looked a bit too open when Frederick Van de Goor came free, but Andrey Revin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. U21 Belgium were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of U21 Belarus for a fine match.
