Spectators: 14377 (Terracing: 10000, Seating: 4027, VIP seats: 350) Teithi Hampton started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 6 played minutes U21 Canada got a freekick which was hit by Ken Lafrenière. Teithi Hampton in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mariano Andujar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 10th minute Beli Fitzgerald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Andujar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Britt Miranda sped through U21 Wales's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ector Joynes. After 19 minutes, Britt Miranda made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. U21 Wales's Ector Joynes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Teithi Hampton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Mariano Andujar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Granwen Cornell in the 29th minute of play forced U21 Canada's goalkeeper Mariano Andujar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ithel Ally received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Mariano Andujar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute Britt Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ector Joynes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ector Joynes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wade Camacho, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Granwen Cornell in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mariano Andujar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teithi Hampton kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. U21 Wales's Ector Joynes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wade Camacho in the 44th minute of play. If Wade Camacho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half U21 Canada were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Britt Miranda to make the kick off. Ector Joynes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wade Camacho, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. U21 Wales's Ector Joynes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Britt Miranda in the 56th minute of play. Wade Camacho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ector Joynes having to interfere. U21 Wales made a substitution. Celyn Lennon replaced Kynedyr Dancy. In the 65th match minute, U21 Wales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beli Fitzgerald to maneuver through the defense. U21 Canada's Grant Alfaro was substituted for Humbert Montgomery. In the 66th match minute, U21 Wales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beli Fitzgerald to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 67 minutes, Ken Lafrenière managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Canada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ken Lafrenière was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ector Joynes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonel Odonnell went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. 74 minutes into the match, U21 Canada's goal looked a bit too open when Dagonet Gale came free, but Mariano Andujar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ector Joynes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ken Lafrenière showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-5 in the 81 minute of play. In the 84th play minute Ken Lafrenière came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ector Joynes. 2-6. Mariano Andujar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dagonet Gale, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Ken Lafrenière's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ector Joynes firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ector Joynes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grant Alfaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Britt Miranda hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Ithel Ally received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Mariano Andujar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Andujar came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Wales's Dagonet Gale. But to his dismay, Dagonet Gale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-6. The U21 Canada supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing U21 Canada would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
