In the 19th minute, Silvestre Elorri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aleksander Lukasik was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 22 minutes into the game, Poland's Tobiasz Hetman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Keylor Navas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The audience was convinced that Tobiasz Hetman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Keylor Navas was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Poland's Aleksander Lukasik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Poland from getting a goal against them. In the 34th minute Argentina were awarded a corner. Edelmiro Vachon went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Argentina's Denis Ghione getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Argentina's goal looked a bit too open when Tobiasz Hetman came free, but Keylor Navas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobiasz Hetman struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Keylor Navas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poland. Poland made a substitution. Cyryl Kaczeniak replaced Tobiasz Hetman. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Cyryl Kaczeniak made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Cyryl Kaczeniak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Argentina's Keylor Navas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Argentina's Keylor Navas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyryl Kaczeniak in the 59th minute of play. Aleksander Lukasik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Elorri in the 62nd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Poland's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Papo came free, but Aleksander Lukasik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Santiago Nazar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aleksander Lukasik was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When Poland's Cyryl Kaczeniak in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Argentina's goalie prevented a goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aleksander Lukasik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Keylor Navas was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Cyryl Kaczeniak capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cyryl Kaczeniak really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Argentina's Antonio Baudelio was substituted for Sergio Pabla. Argentina's Anier Remigio was substituted for Arnulfo Papo. Argentina made a substitution. Benedicto Gitano replaced Silvestre Elorri. Argentina's Keylor Navas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Argentina from getting a goal against them. The Poland supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Poland would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
