Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) 6 minutes into the game, Robustiano Alcantara recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fortunato Baeza. Robustiano Alcantara showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robustiano Alcantara in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fortunato Baeza saved U21 Colombia from getting behind. Jose Ramon Manzor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloi Pumeral in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloi Pumeral in the 13th minute of play forced U21 Chile's goalkeeper Jose Ramon Manzor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romelio Herriaga in the 16th minute of play forced U21 Chile's goalkeeper Jose Ramon Manzor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When U21 Colombia's Tercero Pandal in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, U21 Chile's Poulus Santa María got a free kick in the 24th minute. Jose Ramon Manzor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tercero Pandal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rdth minute of the game Evis Alberdi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Chile's Jose Ramon Manzor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th minute Beti Ugarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Ramon Manzor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florencio Mimica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Romelio Herriaga made a precise shot to the right of Jose Ramon Manzor. U21 Chile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Jose Ramon Manzor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tercero Pandal in the 47th minute of play.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robustiano Alcantara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Robustiano Alcantara came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the U21 Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robustiano Alcantara couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hisashi Mitsui in the 54th minute of play forced U21 Colombia's goalkeeper Fortunato Baeza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fortunato Baeza came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Chile's Hisashi Mitsui. But to his dismay, Hisashi Mitsui quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. With a little luck, U21 Chile's Jose Ramon Manzor got control of the ball when Romelio Herriaga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tercero Pandal in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jose Ramon Manzor, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fortunato Baeza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robustiano Alcantara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudio Rajah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. U21 Colombia made a substitution. Santxo Reguilon replaced Beti Ugarte. In the 82nd minute U21 Colombia were awarded a corner. Isidor Buzon went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Isidor Buzon almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but U21 Chile's Jose Ramon Manzor did a great save. Fortunato Baeza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hisashi Mitsui, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Fortunato Baeza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robustiano Alcantara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jose Ramon Manzor was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Matthew Mattei showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 92 minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
