Aksakumara Gurai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Pumaren in the 13th minute of the match. Harold Querimit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Aksakumara Gurai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 16 played minutes U21 Philippines got a freekick which was hit by Phil Liamzon. In the 19th minute, Carl Parotong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the U21 Philippines defense, Kunju Aulakh kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roy Nangpi. The U21 Philippines fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roy Nangpi should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harosit Gandhi in the 22nd minute of play forced U21 Philippines's goalkeeper Roy Nangpi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arthur Pumaren took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aksakumara Gurai. Aksakumara Gurai dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as U21 India's Atisringa Chahall slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roy Nangpi. That made the score 2-2 after 33 minutes of play. In the 39th minute, Kunju Aulakh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Atisringa Chahall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roy Nangpi having to interfere. Aksakumara Gurai didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Harold Querimit went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eddie Binsol to strike the kick off in the second half. Roy Nangpi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harosit Gandhi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lawrence Yatco lost his temper 56 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. One of U21 Philippines:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of U21 India:s goal. If Eddie Binsol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 68 played minutes U21 India got a freekick which was hit by Enavada Tur. 73 minutes into the match, U21 Philippines's goal looked a bit too open when Atisringa Chahall came free, but Roy Nangpi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arthur Pumaren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Aksakumara Gurai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar Cangco's late challenge caught a U21 India's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. U21 Philippines's supporters rose to their feet, but Eddie Binsol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aksakumara Gurai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atisringa Chahall in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roy Nangpi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aksakumara Gurai didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when U21 Philippines's Eddie Binsol shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-4 in the ordered_time% minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. U21 Philippines had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
