The audience thought a goal was coming when Max Vavruška got free with Keylor Navas in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Max Vavruška's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Keylor Navas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A hard shot 26 in the game by Michal Adam from a close distance when the talented Keylor Navas managed to make a qualified save. Argentina's players were relieved. Keylor Navas was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Michal Adam capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Michal Adam really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The Argentina fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Argentina's Arnulfo Papo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Argentina made a substitution. Saturnino Beat replaced Sergio Pabla. Argentina's Mauricio Chabier was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ruslan Kolín in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Hernan Nesto sped through Czech Republic's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ruslan Kolín. Keylor Navas came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Czech Republic's Michal Adam. But to his dismay, Michal Adam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Ruslan Kolín made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Blanco in the 78th minute of play. The supporters of Argentina booed when Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Hadraba didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 81 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Jan Hadraba. After 85 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Jan Hadraba. When Argentina's Edgardo Blanco in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Czech Republic's goalie prevented a goal. Keylor Navas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Max Vavruška, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgardo Blanco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ruslan Kolín firmly grabbed it by the left post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Argentina walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
