Folke Nordal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xie Xi Feng, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 黄棋坤 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erling Kjellman in the 8th minute of the match. After 9 minutes China's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sven-Arne Olofsson who took care of the corner kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Krister Västerstrand got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 9 minutes into the match. 黄棋坤 came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Sweden's Krister Västerstrand. But to his dismay, Krister Västerstrand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wu Bin Shi got free with Folke Nordal in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the match, Sweden's goalkeeper Folke Nordal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wu Bin Shi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krister Västerstrand in the 17th minute of play forced China's goalkeeper 黄棋坤 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xie Xi Feng's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Folke Nordal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. China's 黄棋坤 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krister Västerstrand in the 20th minute of play. China were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Sweden's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luiz David took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in 沈岩宽 heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Krister Västerstrand in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 黄棋坤 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 黄棋坤 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krister Västerstrand, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Xie Xi Feng succeeded in the game's 36th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Krister Västerstrand to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind China's goalkeeper 黄棋坤, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The throw-in from 黄风永 in the 54th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sweden's Simone Stål. Sweden's Folke Nordal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wu Bin Shi in the 56th minute of play. When Sweden's Erling Kjellman in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye China's goalie prevented a goal. In the 63rd minute, Krister Västerstrand reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of 黄棋坤. The goal made the score 1-3. China made a substitution. 庄耀洲 replaced Šućo Okaemov. China's 毛亮常 was substituted for Xie Xi Feng. In a very dangerous position, a player in China fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! 黄棋坤 performed a great save on Sven-Arne Olofsson's penalty kick. 黄棋坤 came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Sweden's Sven-Arne Olofsson. But to his dismay, Sven-Arne Olofsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. 79 minutes into the match, China's goalkeeper 黄棋坤 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Klas Unesson. A collision led to China getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. 黄风永 hit a great ball. Sweden's Folke Nordal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wu Bin Shi in the 84th minute of play. Folke Nordal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 蔡镇磊 in the 87th minute of play. After 89 minutes, Rune Hedvall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sweden and the China players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of China booed when Sweden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rune Hedvall didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute Wu Bin Shi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Nordal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timmy Bröms got free with 黄棋坤 in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
