Spain made a substitution. Sixto Aizpurua replaced Jair Domínguez. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sancho Jaraba made a kick off. When Spain's Xove Herrera in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Romania's goalie prevented a goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Romania had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
