Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Marcos Pissa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ivan Ostapenko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Pissa in the 5th minute of the match. Marcos Pissa took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Ostapenko. Ivan Ostapenko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Florencio Bühler hit a great ball. In the 15th minute of the match Chile got a corner. Ukraine's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Reynaldo Brunet ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Reynaldo Brunet almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ukraine's Ivan Ostapenko did a great save. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ukraine's goalkeeper Ivan Ostapenko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Salvador Gaete showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marjan Sylych, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. With a little luck, Ukraine's Ivan Ostapenko got control of the ball when Florencio Bühler tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ivan Ostapenko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florencio Bühler in the 34th minute. Tykhon Kuzjmenko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Salvador Gaete made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Marjan Sylych's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Salvador Gaete was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. After 95 minutes, Olexandr Yesin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ukraine and the Chile players grew even worse after the yellow card. Olexandr Yesin kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chile fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ukraine had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
