Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Teodosio Astorga successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Denis Saturnin struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Teodosio Astorga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Mexico. In the 12th match minute, U21 Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerónimo Duble to maneuver through the defense. U21 Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Godofredo Sansone in the 15th minute. After taking down the ball on U21 Mexico's corner Godofredo Sansone fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Teodosio Astorga quite easily take care of the ball. Gerónimo Duble hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Hiram Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. U21 Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Hiram Ortiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodosio Astorga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gervasio Bilintx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Larraín in the 20th minute of play. Teodosio Astorga was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mariano Pavon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. After a rather tough play, U21 Mexico's Hermengildo Lorenz got a free kick in the 28th minute. 34 minutes into the match, U21 Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Palma came free, but Gervasio Bilintx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Mariano Pavon managed to get in a good position for a shot. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kojiro Hyuga was the one to do the kick off. U21 Mexico made a substitution. Cecilio Oliverio replaced Sixto Nalo. Kojiro Hyuga took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gervasio Bilintx. Gervasio Bilintx dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Denis Saturnin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Teodosio Astorga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Americo Bela was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. U21 Mexico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U21 Chile the free kick. Americo Bela hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, U21 Mexico's goalkeeper Gervasio Bilintx had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aaron Larraín. Teodosio Astorga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Gagriel in the 83rd minute of play. After 85 minutes of play, U21 Mexico's Humberto Gagriel made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodosio Astorga was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 88 played minutes U21 Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Sansone. After some careless play in the U21 Chile defense, Denis Saturnin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teodosio Astorga. The U21 Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teodosio Astorga should have stopped the shot. In the 94th match minute, U21 Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Gomesano to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, U21 Mexico's Cecilio Oliverio got a free kick in the 96th minute. In the 96th minute, Venancio Gomesano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute, Xabier Christie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. U21 Mexico's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
