Maximus Maximus made a great header on U21 Canada's corner, it was just that U21 Luxembourg's Jay Titmuss managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 28thth minute of the game Maximus Maximus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Luxembourg's Jay Titmuss was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Refugio Gibbs hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximus Maximus in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jay Titmuss prevented the ball from getting in the gole. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Scott Smith to make the kick off. Herbert Burkett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Brown in the 53rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Scott Smith in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herbert Burkett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maximus Maximus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximus Maximus in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jay Titmuss saved U21 Luxembourg from getting behind. Jay Titmuss stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximus Maximus's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. The supporters of U21 Canada booed when U21 Luxembourg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harvey Emberson didn't get a good kick on the ball.
