Keylor Navas came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Czech Republic's Lubomír Hůlka. But to his dismay, Lubomír Hůlka quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 18th minute Humberto Urane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavřinec Šeděnka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 minutes, Humberto Urane made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. U21 Czech Republic's Vavřinec Šeděnka tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vavřinec Šeděnka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Humberto Urane's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. U21 Panama's Keylor Navas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save U21 Panama from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute, Javier Bermudez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rudolf Skácel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Keylor Navas. U21 Panama's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. U21 Panama's Keylor Navas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Verner Knížek in the 34th minute of play. Matias Dely received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Vavřinec Šeděnka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vavřinec Šeděnka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Urane, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After some careless play in the U21 Czech Republic defense, Humberto Urane kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vavřinec Šeděnka. The U21 Czech Republic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vavřinec Šeděnka should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Humberto Urane was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Matias Dely reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vavřinec Šeděnka. The goal made the score 1-4. In the 56th minute, René Kadeřávek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, U21 Czech Republic's René Kadeřávek got a free kick in the 58th minute. Vavřinec Šeděnka made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Humberto Urane sent off a good shot on target. U21 Panama's Humberto Urane was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 67th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Humberto Uranes short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Vavřinec Šeděnka to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. U21 Panama's Mario Martens was substituted for Humberto Urane. In the 73rd minute of the match U21 Panama got a corner. U21 Czech Republic's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Heraclides Villalaz ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on U21 Panama's corner Heraclides Villalaz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vavřinec Šeděnka quite easily take care of the ball. After some careless play in the U21 Czech Republic defense, Mario Martens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vavřinec Šeděnka. The U21 Czech Republic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vavřinec Šeděnka should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Verner Knížek in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keylor Navas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to U21 Czech Republic getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Ernest Nechanický hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Javier Alfaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mario Martens got free with Vavřinec Šeděnka in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 89th minute Lubomír Hůlka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keylor Navas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matias Dely sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivo Toth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Keylor Navas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The U21 Czech Republic supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching U21 Panama's performance. The match ended with a win for U21 Panama.
