USA were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after Poland's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emery Singer took the corner. USA's Bryce Conn was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Radoslaw Pietras in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Poland's Radoslaw Pietras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bryce Conn in the 47th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Cody Arnold cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Radoslaw Pietras was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrzej Rukszcz to make the kick off. Radoslaw Pietras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryce Conn in the 60th minute of the match. Roland Wincek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dean Li showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Wincek, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. USA's Dean Li played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrzej Rukszcz in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Wincek in the 67th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Dean Li to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Roland Wincek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. USA's Fernando Carrero was substituted for Cody Arnold. Poland's Leonard Kasperowicz was substituted for Roland Wincek. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Carrero in the 73rd minute of play forced Poland's goalkeeper Radoslaw Pietras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Olgierd Zukowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dean Li was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. USA made a substitution. Cary Gaston replaced Arturo Brewer. Radoslaw Pietras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Carrero in the 84th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Olgierd Zukowski came free, but Dean Li reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jedrzej Bronkala scored 3-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dean Li, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Radoslaw Pietras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Carrero in the 96th minute of play. Poland's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
