The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 85th minute, Jaroslaw Balonek made a precise shot to the right of Vasile Şoimaru. U21 Romania's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 89th minute, Zbyszek Cerocki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Poland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. After 91 played minutes U21 Poland got a freekick which was hit by Rafal Wolski. A collision led to U21 Romania getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Petruț Benga hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The U21 Poland fans cheered their team off the field, for while U21 Romania had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
