Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Benito Muelas made the kick off and thus started the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Manzano in the 3rd minute of play forced U21 Poland's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Kaider to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Muelas hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Antolin Saboya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogdan Pryla, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After a rather tough play, U21 Spain's Quique Alcaraz got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 28 played minutes Kryspin Tyskie rounded U21 Spain's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. 31 minutes into the match, U21 Poland's Kryspin Tyskie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antolin Saboya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benito Muelas kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Kryspin Tyskie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antolin Saboya read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Antolin Saboya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kryspin Tyskie, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bogdan Pryla to make the kick off. Antolin Saboya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kryspin Tyskie in the 56th minute of play. Benito Muelas struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Wawrzyniec Kaider didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Spain. If Bogdan Pryla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. U21 Poland's Gwidon Wolnik was substituted for Bogdan Birkenhagen. After 71 played minutes U21 Spain got a freekick which was hit by Quique Alcaraz. A sloppy throw-in by Quique Alcaraz in the 76th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by U21 Poland's Ignacy Dombroski. If Iwan Solecki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. U21 Spain's Antolin Saboya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iwan Solecki in the 86th minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, U21 Poland's Iwan Solecki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antolin Saboya made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. U21 Poland had won after a very even match.
