But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yasar Linz couldn't finish the play. If Leo Šlégr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Austria's Peter Mundanjohl got a free kick in the 12th minute. Jaroslav Vychodil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ulrich Haupt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Austria's goal looked a bit too open when Pavel Kutálek came free, but Ulrich Haupt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goalkeeper Otomar Ullrich had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yasar Linz. After 19 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Dalibor Patka. Otomar Ullrich stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yasar Linz's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Austria's Yasar Linz was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 23rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With a little luck, Czech Republic's Otomar Ullrich got control of the ball when Yasar Linz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ulrich Haupt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Šlégr, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Austria's Pascal Hemmerich sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Otomar Ullrich narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yasar Linz in the 54th minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Otomar Ullrich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Yasar Linz came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Austria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yasar Linz couldn't finish the play. Otomar Ullrich didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yasar Linz went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Otomar Ullrich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yasar Linz in the 66th minute of the match. Hubert Frankfurter charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hubert Frankfurter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Austria made a substitution. Dominik Jensen replaced Yasar Linz. In the 72nd match minute, Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hubert Frankfurter to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Ulrich Haupt managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Czech Republic's Ludovít Damborský fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 73 minutes into the game, Ludovít Damborský lined in a short shot 2-2 behind a frustrated Ulrich Haupt. Otomar Ullrich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominik Jensen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaroslav Vychodil in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulrich Haupt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Otomar Ullrich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moritz Sterk, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Moritz Sterk kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute of the match, Jaroslav Vychodil tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ulrich Haupt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ulrich Haupt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaroslav Vychodil's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Dalibor Patka hit a great ball. Ulrich Haupt made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Alexander Bouzek sent off a good shot on target. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Austria's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Václav Mitáček was slow to take the kick. During this time Czech Republic's players had a chance to rest. Dominik Jensen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
