Mexico and the Club V290 players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to 7. Mexico getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Miguel Lopez hit a great ball. 7. Mexico's Eduardo Morales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amauri de Lima in the 7th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Club V290's Eduardo Morales threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Detmar Woche, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Club V290's Kjetil von Bülow got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Detmar Woche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deniz Cabanis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 24 minutes of play, Club V290's Heribert Bast made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eduardo Morales was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Club V290's Deniz Cabanis got a free kick in the 26th minute. The supporters of Club V290 booed when 7. Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Hernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Heribert Bast sped through 7. Mexico's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eduardo Morales. Heribert Bast might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eduardo Morales. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Heribert Bast ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 46th minute, Juan Rodriguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jose Hernandez to strike the kick off in the second half. Eduardo Morales came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Club V290's Heribert Bast. But to his dismay, Heribert Bast quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 56 minutes into the game, Club V290's Heribert Bast nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eduardo Morales made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Eduardo Morales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heribert Bast in the 61st minute of play. Heribert Bast fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Morales having to interfere. Eduardo Morales came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Club V290's Heribert Bast. But to his dismay, Heribert Bast quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. A collision led to 7. Mexico getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Jose Hernandez hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Amauri de Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Club V290's Steen Keun was substituted for Amauri de Lima. Club V290 made a substitution. Baturhan Nefer replaced Lance Gulden. Heribert Bast sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Heribert Bast sped through 7. Mexico's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eduardo Morales. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steen Keun in the 78th minute of play forced 7. Mexico's goalkeeper Eduardo Morales to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Detmar Woche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Eduardo Morales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Detmar Woche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Jose Hernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Heribert Bast put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Eduardo Morales. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Heribert Bast managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club V290's supporters rose to their feet, but Heribert Bast was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Morales breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd minute Detmar Woche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Morales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club V290's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Deniz Cabanis in the 95th minute. Kjetil von Bülow made a great header on Club V290's corner, it was just that 7. Mexico's Eduardo Morales managed to reach the ball for a save. There was no doubt that Club V290 were the better team. Club V290's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
