Fix Campoamor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fix Campoamor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adalbert Silberhorn in the 27th minute of play. After 32 played minutes Vinicius Balón de PLAYA got a freekick which was hit by Luis Abascal. Federico Moya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Kjetil Gruhn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Vinicius Balón de PLAYA's Porfirio Paz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Porfirio Paz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Vinicius Balón de PLAYA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Porfirio Paz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Porfirio Paz kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. A hard shot by Calvin Knop from long distance, 38 minutes into the match, got Fix Campoamor's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Adalbert Silberhorn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kjetil Gruhn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Moya in the 41st minute of the match. The supporters of Vinicius Balón de PLAYA booed when FC Hawaii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luka Kalenbach didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the game, FC Hawaii's Caspar Grüning nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fix Campoamor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2.

With his leg Kjetil Gruhn managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Vinicius Balón de PLAYA's Dubardo Izaguirre fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. FC Hawaii made a substitution. Massoud Nell replaced Achim Harms. In the 76th match minute, Vinicius Balón de PLAYA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Abascal to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omero Alfaro got free with Kjetil Gruhn in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Brockmüller in the 89th minute of play forced Vinicius Balón de PLAYA's goalkeeper Fix Campoamor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gumersindo Ruiz kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Vinicius Balón de PLAYA's Luis Abascal got a free kick in the 96th minute. After having played for 97 minutes, Calvin Knop managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Hawaii's supporters crossed their fingers, but Calvin Knop was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Hawaii were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Vinicius Balón de PLAYA for a fine match.
