When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Bieito Cerezal sped through VERDOLAGA CITY FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Epifanio Bueldi. 17 minutes into the game, Frascuelo Navarrete was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leeds United FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VERDOLAGA CITY FC the free kick. Leeds United FC's Genaro Gallaiztegui got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bieito Cerezal in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Epifanio Bueldi saved VERDOLAGA CITY FC from getting behind. In the 35th minute, Bieito Cerezal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leeds United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Epifanio Bueldi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bieito Cerezal in the 38th minute of play. Epifanio Bueldi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bieito Cerezal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Valery Toyo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Epifanio Bueldi was relentless in the 47th minute of the game.

After having played for 77 minutes, Bieito Cerezal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leeds United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bieito Cerezal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 82 played minutes VERDOLAGA CITY FC got a freekick which was hit by Natanael Neila. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Araoz Simon during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Genaro Gallaiztegui hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Genaro Gallaiztegui was in a good position and ended up with the ball after Leeds United FC's free kick, but he didn't get a good hit on the ball and blazed it high and to the right of the goal.
