In the 4th minute Sabin Comșa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Rico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emiliano Martínez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Kaxen, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Emiliano Martínez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roy Makaay in the 9th minute. A collision led to Dachshund FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Reynaldo Remir hit a great ball. After 21 minutes Talleres de Escalada's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alan Blanco who took care of the corner kick. Alan Blanco made a great header on Dachshund FC's corner, it was just that Talleres de Escalada's Hipolito Rico managed to reach the ball for a save. 22 minutes into the match, Talleres de Escalada's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Gaufred came free, but Hipolito Rico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sabin Comșa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hipolito Rico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabin Comșa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Talleres de Escalada's goal looked a bit too open when Sabin Comșa came free, but Hipolito Rico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabin Comșa in the 33rd minute of play forced Talleres de Escalada's goalkeeper Hipolito Rico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd match minute, Dachshund FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Remir to maneuver through the defense. Dachshund FC made a substitution. Dionisio Eguntsenti replaced Aurelio Cesaro. After a rather tough play, Dachshund FC's Reynaldo Remir got a free kick in the 35th minute. Hipolito Rico didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sabin Comșa went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 45 minutes into the match, Dachshund FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roy Makaay came free, but Emiliano Martínez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute of the match, Justino Kaxen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Emiliano Martínez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sabin Comșa to strike the kick off in the second half. Reynaldo Remir kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Dachshund FC's Emiliano Martínez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vivaldo lago in the 52nd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Dachshund FC's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Kaxen came free, but Emiliano Martínez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dionisio Eguntsenti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dachshund FC made a substitution. Sebastian Gau replaced Alan Blanco. In the 71st match minute, Talleres de Escalada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Louis-Philippe De Assis Moreira to maneuver through the defense. Gyula Hajnal dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Emiliano Martínez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vivaldo lago, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Emiliano Martínez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gyula Hajnal's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Talleres de Escalada's goalkeeper Hipolito Rico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonardo Poz. If Justino Kaxen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonardo Poz got free with Hipolito Rico in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Dachshund FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dachshund FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
