Ingemar Söderkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Melchester Rovers's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Maraman came free, but Isac Tillman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isac Tillman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Maraman in the 40th minute of play. After some careless play in the Melchester Rovers defense, Mateo Bernaldo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isac Tillman. The Melchester Rovers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isac Tillman should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Nereo Maraman made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Melchester Rovers's Paul Hultman got a free kick in the 60th minute. With a little luck, Melchester Rovers's Isac Tillman got control of the ball when Juan Vargas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Melchester Rovers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Melchester Rovers's Isac Tillman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Bernaldo in the 88th minute of play. In the 88th match minute, Melchester Rovers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingemar Söderkvist to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Melchester Rovers's zone, Juan Vargas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isac Tillman came out of the goal and Juan Vargas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
