Edip Ergüden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Sandström in the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind BAFRA 55's goalkeeper Edip Ergüden, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edip Ergüden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Sandström in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Kayacan Ünek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BAFRA 55 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. BAFRA 55's Kayacan Ünek got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcus Sandström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edip Ergüden came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcus Sandström slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 25th minute. A collision led to BAFRA 55 getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Halit Ziya Uğursay hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, BAFRA 55's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marcus Sandström fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Halit Ziya Uğursay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute Atıf İkram shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Måns Holm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, BAFRA 55's Atıf İkram nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Måns Holm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After having played for 46 minutes, Marcus Sandström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melchester Rovers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Sandström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Halit Ziya Uğursay was the one to do the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Marcus Sandström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BAFRA 55's Edip Ergüden was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. BAFRA 55's Edip Ergüden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Sandström in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Melchester Rovers's Ingemar Söderkvist got a free kick in the 63rd minute. If Behram Durualp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edip Ergüden came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Melchester Rovers's Marcus Sandström. But to his dismay, Marcus Sandström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Marcus Sandström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Edip Ergüden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Måns Holm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kayacan Ünek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paul Hultman's late challenge caught a BAFRA 55's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paul Hultman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute, Paul Hultman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcus Sandström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edip Ergüden having to interfere. Casper Olsson scored 3-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edip Ergüden, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Melchester Rovers's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
