Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denílson Magalhães in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mariusz Urban prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 14 minutes into the match, ATHLETICO PRaiano's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Zărnescu came free, but Romulo Viator reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When SuRpRiSe's Sebastian Zărnescu in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Romulo Viator stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Zărnescu's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Romulo Viator made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Mariusz Urban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elivélton Moraes in the 36th minute of the match. 36 minutes in the game, Elivélton Moraes dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Sebastian Zărnescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Romulo Viator took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Zărnescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elivélton Moraes in the 40th minute of play forced SuRpRiSe's goalkeeper Mariusz Urban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SuRpRiSe! 47 minutes into the match, SuRpRiSe's goal looked a bit too open when Elivélton Moraes came free, but Mariusz Urban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The ATHLETICO PRaiano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romulo Viator should have stopped the shot. Boniel Sovera hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elivélton Moraes in the 63rd minute of play forced SuRpRiSe's goalkeeper Mariusz Urban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariusz Urban made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Oséas Negri sent off a good shot on target. For all the effort they put into the match, the ATHLETICO PRaiano players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SuRpRiSe.
