After a rather tough play, Nagyváradi AC's Géza Markos got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Tibor Gerebics made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mairo Jardel in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute Mairo Jardel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tibor Gerebics saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sílvio Luiz Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Breguete FC's Jefferson De Oliveira got control of the ball when Roland Pécsi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 16 minutes, Cláudio Xavier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Breguete FC and the Nagyváradi AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes Breguete FC got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luiz Mineiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Xavier in the 21st minute of play forced Nagyváradi AC's goalkeeper Tibor Gerebics to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Pécsi in the 40th minute of play forced Breguete FC's goalkeeper Jefferson De Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Breguete FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Mairo Jardel hit a great ball. Jefferson De Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from József Szalontai in the 44th minute of the match. Breguete FC's Jefferson De Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrián Lovas in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Breguete FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute, Adrián Lovas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nagyváradi AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 54 minutes into the game, Mairo Jardel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Breguete FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nagyváradi AC the free kick. 56 minutes into the match, Breguete FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adrián Lovas came free, but Jefferson De Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jefferson De Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Pécsi in the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute Mairo Jardel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tibor Gerebics saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Attila Kenesei hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Nagyváradi AC's Tibor Gerebics proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Nagyváradi AC from getting a goal against them. 73 minutes into the match, Nagyváradi AC's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Xavier came free, but Tibor Gerebics reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tibor Gerebics showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cláudio Xavier, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the game, Sílvio Luiz Mineiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. When Roland Pécsi came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Nagyváradi AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roland Pécsi couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute, Roland Pécsi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jefferson De Oliveira was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
