When Sebastian Van Houdtvin came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Lions United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Van Houdtvin couldn't finish the play. Stephan Vanden Driessche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kacper Raschke in the 20th minute of the match. Stephan Vanden Driessche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartlomiej Bryk in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Kacper Raschke cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Stephan Vanden Driessche was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sebastian Van Houdtvin had several of the Victory VIVIP Team's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 28 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Konstanty Cwynar as he didn't even see the shot coming. Stephan Vanden Driessche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juliusz Paciuszko in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute of the match Victory VIVIP Team got a corner. Lions United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roch Kochowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Roch Kochowski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lions United's Stephan Vanden Driessche did a great save. After a rather tough play, Lions United's Roland De Wulf got a free kick in the 34th minute. Konstanty Cwynar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christoph Lefebre in the 42nd minute. Sebastian Van Houdtvins short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Konstanty Cwynar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a defensive mix-up in Lions United's zone, Bartlomiej Bryk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stephan Vanden Driessche came out of the goal and Bartlomiej Bryk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mikolaj Juszkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Stephan Vanden Driessche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wawrzyniec Debkowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Stephan Vanden Driessche made a huge save. Stephan Vanden Driessche didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wawrzyniec Debkowski went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Lions United's Stephan Vanden Driessche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Lions United from getting a goal against them. In the 89th minute of the game Augustijn Vereect made a throw-in which Christoph Lefebre played forward. After 89 minutes, Ward Grootaers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lions United and the Victory VIVIP Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th minute, Ward Grootaers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Stephan Vanden Driessche successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 95 minutes into the match, Victory VIVIP Team's Sylwester Popowicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stephan Vanden Driessche narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
