Spectators: 206 (Terracing: 155, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) MKS Mazur Ełk's Artur Wichniarek started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. MKS Mazur Ełk's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Kazimierz Niemoj 2 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Claes Rudberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Wichniarek in the 7th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Song Zheng Bang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, MKS Mazur Ełk's Petar Hubchev tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Claes Rudberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jay-Jay Okocha in the 17th minute of play. Claes Rudberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jay-Jay Okocha's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Claes Rudberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petar Hubchev in the 22nd minute of play. Artur Wichniarek charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artur Wichniarek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd match minute, MKS Mazur Ełk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Wichniarek to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FC Saxon getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. 区 hit a great ball. Claes Rudberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jay-Jay Okocha in the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Artur Wichniarek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claes Rudberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Kazimierz Niemoj took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bartoli Stefano. Bartoli Stefano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 40 minutes into the match, FC Saxon's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Wichniarek came free, but Claes Rudberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute of the match MKS Mazur Ełk got a corner. FC Saxon's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Petar Hubchev ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Phillipe Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aurel Macavei stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Phillipe Sá kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When Artur Wichniarek was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 62 minutes had been played. In the 62nd minute, Artur Wichniarek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MKS Mazur Ełk's Dani Olmo was substituted for Teofil Maziarz. The supporters of FC Saxon booed when MKS Mazur Ełk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Wichniarek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bartoli Stefano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kazimierz Niemoj in the 67th minute of the match. Jan Ziolkowski charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan Ziolkowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jan Ziolkowski hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After having played for 81 minutes, Phillipe Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Saxon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Phillipe Sá was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wladyslaw Tomaka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 91 played minutes FC Saxon got a freekick which was hit by Zenon Panasewicz. Jay-Jay Okocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claes Rudberg having to interfere. MKS Mazur Ełk's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
