In the 5th minute Sten Alebeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Plaski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, Sten Alebeck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maks BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 12 minutes into the game, Börje Ahlfors was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maks BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Underdogs the free kick. After 12 played minutes Maks BK got a freekick which was hit by Börje Ahlfors. A collision led to Maks BK getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Börje Ahlfors hit a great ball. Filip Plaski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sten Alebeck in the 19th minute of the match. Filip Plaski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Alebeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the game, Cyprian Podwojski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Underdogs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maks BK the free kick. In the 26th match minute, Maks BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakob Ström to maneuver through the defense. Underdogs's Filip Plaski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Alebeck in the 31st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Underdogs's zone, Sten Alebeck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filip Plaski came out of the goal and Sten Alebeck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute Sten Alebeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Plaski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Underdogs getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Cyprian Podwojski hit a great ball. After the first half Maks BK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sten Alebeck to make the kick off. With a little luck, Underdogs's Filip Plaski got control of the ball when Sten Alebeck tried to sneak it across the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Georg Målare came free, but Filip Plaski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sten Alebeck got free with Filip Plaski in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Georg Målare took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filip Plaski. Filip Plaski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Maks BK's Sven-Edvin Dahlman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Filip Plaski. That made the score 0-4 after 84 minutes of play. If Charles Vesterberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filip Plaski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sten Alebeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Underdogs's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Sten Alebeck scored to the left of an out of position Filip Plaski, making the score, 0-5. The Underdogs fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Maks BK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
