Theo Van Geertruyen hit a great ball. In the 13th match minute, Esquirla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthis Schockaert to maneuver through the defense. Genzo Wakabayashi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tom Esquide in the 14th minute. After 16 minutes of play, Pelé Futebol Clube's William Lundblad made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jannes Stuycken was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tom Esquide could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Genzo Wakabayashi made a huge save. Genzo Wakabayashi made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Tom Esquide sent off a good shot on target. Nuno Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliézer Urbano in the 33rd minute of play forced Esquirla FC's goalkeeper Jannes Stuycken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Esquirla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliézer Urbano came free, but Jannes Stuycken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Eliézer Urbano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jannes Stuycken was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 42nd minute, Esquirla FC's Tom Esquide dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. The Esquirla FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pelé Futebol Clube were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tom Esquide to make the kick off. The supporters of Pelé Futebol Clube booed when Esquirla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brent-Jan Van Boxstael didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Pelé Futebol Clube's Nuno Linhares slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jannes Stuycken. That made the score 1-4 after 52 minutes of play. Jannes Stuycken made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliézer Urbano in the 59th minute. William Lundblad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Jannes Stuycken made a huge save. Nuno Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jannes Stuycken having to interfere. After 67 played minutes Esquirla FC got a freekick which was hit by Brent-Jan Van Boxstael. In the 70th minute, Eliézer Urbano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pelé Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. After a defensive mix-up in Esquirla FC's zone, Nuno Linhares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jannes Stuycken came out of the goal and Nuno Linhares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 76 played minutes Pelé Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Aníbal Goiano. William Lundblads short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Jannes Stuycken to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Linhares in the 84th minute of play forced Esquirla FC's goalkeeper Jannes Stuycken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Menios Moustakalis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute, one of Esquirla FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Esquirla FC. Aníbal Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Pelé Futebol Clube played a much better game than Esquirla FC and deserved their victory. The Esquirla FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
