In the 7th minute, Woody LoDuca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lincoln Beal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerold Lamb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerold Lamb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lincoln Beal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Titus Mackey, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Lincoln Beal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Woody LoDuca in the 16th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferdinand Barber got free with Jeff Valentin in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Harry Finney made in the 22nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by William Kinsey. After a rather tough play, Thunder FC's Glenn Webber got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 23 minutes of play, America FC's Woody LoDuca made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lincoln Beal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lincoln Beal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerold Lamb in the 27th minute of the match. Ferdinand Barber came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jeff Valentin could save by the left post. In the 33rd minute, Gregorio Gates hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gregorio Gates hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Carl Parks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute, Gregorio Gates hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute Jerold Lamb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lincoln Beal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

53 minutes into the match, Thunder FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jerold Lamb came free, but Lincoln Beal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Barber in the 55th minute of play forced America FC's goalkeeper Jeff Valentin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Royce Coulter hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the match, Thunder FC's goalkeeper Lincoln Beal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Woody LoDuca. In the 62nd minute, Ali Hood hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, America FC's Woody LoDuca ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lincoln Beal. Lincoln Beal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Thunder FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Gregorio Gates scored to the left of an out of position Lincoln Beal, making the score, 0-3. Thunder FC's Lincoln Beal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerold Lamb in the 70th minute of play. Lincoln Beal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerold Lamb in the 72nd minute of the match. Lincoln Beal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Titus Mackey in the 74th minute of play. Jeff Valentin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebio Aguirre in the 77th minute of the match. Titus Mackey scored 0-4 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lincoln Beal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lincoln Beal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerold Lamb in the 87th minute of play. America FC's Jerold Lamb got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eusebio Aguirre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeff Valentin having to interfere. If Ferdinand Barber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Thunder FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching America FC's performance. The match ended with a win for America FC.
