But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Maranhense couldn't finish the play. Danilo Maranhense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emmitt Khan in the 18th minute of play forced Illinois Bluewaters's goalkeeper Roger Myles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Danilo Maranhense stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Illinois Bluewaters's Roger Myles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Illinois Bluewaters from getting a goal against them. Roger Myles made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Hayden Countess sent off a good shot on target. Emmitt Khan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dante Todd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Rhett Cegielski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Illinois Bluewaters's Roger Myles got control of the ball when Wesley Britton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roger Myles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emmitt Khan, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute.
