Roger Myles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Beniamin Resel went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 10th minute Thaddeus Broussard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Myles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Maranhense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roger Myles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lawrence Conley in the 20th minute of the match. After 23 played minutes Spiro got a freekick which was hit by Alistair Soto. If Mar Cao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roger Myles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beniamin Resel, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Thor Lindström scored 0-3 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roger Myles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute, Dante Todd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beniamin Resel in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roger Myles saved Illinois Bluewaters from getting behind. Roger Myles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tor Odin in the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor Odin in the 41st minute of play forced Illinois Bluewaters's goalkeeper Roger Myles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danilo Maranhense hit a great ball. Roger Myles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beniamin Resel in the 87th minute of play. Thaddeus Broussard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Roger Myles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Thaddeus Broussard took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Roger Myles to make any attempt to save it. Illinois Bluewaters's Roger Myles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Illinois Bluewaters from getting a goal against them. The Spiro players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
