Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Mel Mel F C's César Tande started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Aqua FC booed when Mel Mel F C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodriguinho Virgin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiago Gabriel Valladares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Túlio Pinho in the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Eliézer Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Gabriel Valladares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aqua FC's goalkeeper Thiago Vidal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 24 played minutes Aqua FC got a freekick which was hit by Eliézer Paiva. César Tande recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hélio Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Mel Mel F C getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Rony Faria hit a great ball. César Tande recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquim de Lima during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joaquim de Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When César Tande came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Mel Mel F C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that César Tande couldn't finish the play. Eliézer Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Gabriel Valladares having to interfere. In the 78th minute César Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Aqua FC's goal looked a bit too open when César Tande came free, but Thiago Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Joaquim de Lima was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 80 minutes had been played. In the 81st match minute, Mel Mel F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim de Lima to maneuver through the defense. Aqua FC's Thiago Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodriguinho Virgin in the 89th minute of play. Hélio Galvão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Tiago Gabriel Valladares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aqua FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Mel Mel F C had controlled the match.
