After 22 played minutes Maquina Laranja F.C got a freekick which was hit by Válter Mendonça. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delfim Viana in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Augusto Dionísio saved Maquina Laranja F.C from getting behind. In the 25th minute Delfim Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Augusto Dionísio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Maquina Laranja F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Delfim Viana came free, but José Augusto Dionísio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Augusto Dionísio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Viana in the 29th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, IGUIPORÃ FC's Víktor Cabral got a free kick in the 61st minute. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Válter Mendonça got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Válter Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renatinho Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válter Mendonça in the 74th minute of the match. Renatinho Santana made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Laércio Toscano sent off a good shot on target. Delfim Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Augusto Dionísio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustão Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, Faustão Costa notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Maquina Laranja F.C's José Augusto Dionísio. José Augusto Dionísio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to IGUIPORÃ FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play.
