Diorama AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ippolit Kiryakov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 76th minute Ippolit Kiryakov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Francisco da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reyes No in the 80th minute of play forced Diorama AD's goalkeeper João Francisco da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 82 played minutes GRÊMIO F.R G got a freekick which was hit by Faustão Alagoano. When Zhao Le Yin came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Diorama AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zhao Le Yin couldn't finish the play. Diorama AD's João Francisco da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ippolit Kiryakov in the 90th minute of play. Ippolit Kiryakov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Francisco da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reyes No in the 93rd minute of play.
