This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Paulão Simões as he didn't even see the shot coming. Queluzito's Luiz Gustavo Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Dante in the 32nd minute of play. Mateus Lopes took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulão Simões. Paulão Simões dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Mateus Lopes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Paulão Simões made a huge save. In the 37th minute, Aírton Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute of the match Falcão Vidal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulão Simões showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, vitoria u17's Paulão Simões got control of the ball when Jeferson Johannesen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sérgio Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
