In the 3rd minute, Eliott Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiaguinho Novaes took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Santo. Marcos Santo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hílton Tande in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Santo saved Quidombo SC from getting behind. In the 8th minute Nabucodonosor E.C. were awarded a corner. Hílton Tande went to the cornerflag to take it. João Paulo Tavares was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Marcos Santo came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Nabucodonosor E.C.'s Hílton Tande. But to his dismay, Hílton Tande quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After some careless play in the Quidombo SC defense, Hílton Tande kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Santo. The Quidombo SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Santo should have stopped the shot. Marcos Santo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hílton Tande's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute Andrézinho Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Santo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes Quidombo SC got a freekick which was hit by Eliott Carneiro. Hílton Tande might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Santo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hílton Tande ran back to his position shaking his head. 27 minutes into the match, Hílton Tande notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Quidombo SC's Marcos Santo. Marcos Santo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 30 played minutes Nabucodonosor E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Hílton Tande. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hílton Tande in the 32nd minute of play forced Quidombo SC's goalkeeper Marcos Santo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Santo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hílton Tande in the 33rd minute of the match. Marcos Santo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrézinho Miranda in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute, João Paulo Tavares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nabucodonosor E.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Nabucodonosor E.C. were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Quidombo SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hílton Tande took the corner. After taking down the ball on Nabucodonosor E.C.'s corner Hílton Tande fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcos Santo quite easily take care of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hílton Tande made a kick off. Quidombo SC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Andrézinho Miranda 52 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-8. Marcos Santo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hílton Tande in the 54th minute of play. When Tiaguinho Novaes came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Nabucodonosor E.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiaguinho Novaes couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute of the match, Frans Escajadillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcos Santo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 59th minute of the match, Andrézinho Miranda tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcos Santo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Nabucodonosor E.C.'s Andrézinho Miranda got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Marcos Santo managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Nabucodonosor E.C.'s Hílton Tande fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marcos Santo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcos Santo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frans Escajadillo in the 78th minute of the match. João Paulo Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Frans Escajadillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Santo having to interfere. Quidombo SC's Marcos Santo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Quidombo SC from getting a goal against them. 93 minutes into the game, Nabucodonosor E.C.'s Tiaguinho Novaes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Santo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-12. 96 minutes into the match, Quidombo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Hílton Tande came free, but Marcos Santo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Nabucodonosor E.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Quidombo SC throughout the match.
