In the 13th minute Augusts Baskers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vivaldo Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 played minutes E.C 2 Janeiro RS got a freekick which was hit by Albertinho de Sousa. Orlando Vasconcelos kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Augusts Baskers scored to the left of an out of position Vivaldo Romero, making the score, 2-1. If Donald Tusk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vivaldo Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donald Tusk in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Donald Tusk notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Vivaldo Romero. Vivaldo Romero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vivaldo Romero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cesinha Terra went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as FUTEBOL E PILEQUINHO's Donald Tusk slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vivaldo Romero. That made the score 5-1 after 36 minutes of play. Vivaldo Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusts Baskers in the 42nd minute of the match. FUTEBOL E PILEQUINHO's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wilson Gottardo in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Augusts Baskers to strike the kick off in the second half. Edmílson Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of FUTEBOL E PILEQUINHO booed when E.C 2 Janeiro RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseu Marinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Edmílson Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vivaldo Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesinha Terra, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After a rather tough play, FUTEBOL E PILEQUINHO's Ronaldão Veiga got a free kick in the 67th minute. Augusts Baskers scored 7-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vivaldo Romero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to E.C 2 Janeiro RS getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Eliseu Marinho hit a great ball. Vivaldo Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmílson Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Augusts Baskers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vivaldo Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Donald Tusk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-1. Vivaldo Romero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FUTEBOL E PILEQUINHO had played much better football throughout.
